I have survived the nausea and exhaustion, and have made it to the start of my second trimester! What a whirlwind it’s been already. The weeks are just flying by, and some days I find that I have to remind myself I’m pregnant. I have been having some trouble remembering to eat and drink enough, so that is my focus these days. Other than that, I am feeling much more like “myself”, with a lot more energy.
The baby is doing great, praise the Lord! He or she has a strong, steady heartbeat and is measuring right on track. We will have a full, in-depth ultrasound at 20 weeks. I can’t wait for that one: to see the hands and feet, to watch the baby move around, and to find out the gender (of course!). So now, we are just counting down to that exciting week!
Here is my most recent belly shot. I am sporting a little belly, and I must say I am pretty proud of it. Being pregnant is such a privilege. I am thankful and feel extremely blessed to be able to play a part in this amazing miracle!
Check out how things have changed since week 9.
